I am a 10th Grader with a strong passion for inventing, building and programming robots and sharing STEM. I aim to be a Mechatronics Engineer and Inventor. I am currently the Founder and Team Captain of the RoboChicks, an all-girls robotics team.

In January 2018 I wrote a grant for 5 Seaperch kits (Underwater robotics competition). One kit would be used by my team and the other four would be given to four teams that I would coach. After meeting with the girls for one hour a week over eight weeks they were ready to compete. Over those eight weeks, they learned how to cut PVC pipe, solder, drill, and learned about teamwork. As of October 2018, I am coaching over 35 girls in FIRST Lego League.

RoboChicks Team Captain
Aug 2012 - present: 7 Years

 

In 2012 I founded RoboChicks, an all-girls robotics team that was sponsored by Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. For three years we competed in FLL (FIRST Lego League) and in 2015 we transferred into FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge). In the FTC offseason, we also compete in Seaperch, an underwater robotics competition. Over this time I've learned how to program, build, and CAD, in addition to winning the awards locally and nationally.
