Girls can Code Club: Connections Academy

Girls Who Code Club | Georgia Connections Academy

Girls Can STEM Party

Girls Can STEM Party
In 2016 I wrote a grant for $500 from Youth Service America and Disney to host a Girls Can STEM Party for one 50 girls. In 2017 I implemented that project and used the $500 to cover the cost of Girls Can Code badges, a LED Lightsaber project, a bridge building project using only marshmallows and toothpicks and more. In addition, with help from my robotics team, we made a presentation about the women in STEM. Which included the U.S. Girl Scouts CEO, who's a rocket scientist, to show the girls that they can succeed in STEM.
